Hey folks, I just wanted to clarify that Deluge is not meeting this coming Wednesday. Since we have cleared the calendar of Wednesday meetings for July (homegroups) it applies to Deluge as well. Our next Deluge meeting will be Saturday, August 14th.

Youth Ministry Orientation Night

Have you been part of Deluge or Metro Youth in the past? Maybe you’re entering 6th or 9th grade. Perhaps you’re already in middle or high school and haven’t jumped into Metro Youth or Deluge yet. We’re planning an orientation to kick off the 2010-2011 school year. We’ll have a time of worship, announcement of things that are coming up this year, and then you’ll get to meet with the folks in your grade for your first discipleship group of the new year. It all starts at 7:30, Wednesday August 25th.

Please know that even though we’ll be welcoming the incoming 6th and 9th graders, that’s only part of what we’re doing, so this meeting is intended for all middle school and high school students and parents. It’s also a great opportunity to invite people who have not participated in Deluge or Metro Youth to learn what we’re all about.
