What is the Church?

We learn from Acts 2 that when a person is baptized, the Lord adds him to His church.
Another passage that teaches the same truth is 1Corinthians 12:13, which says that “we were all baptized into one body.” But then in 1Corinthians 12:27 paul says "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it."
